With the google webmaster tools you can tell google about the existence of your site. Other benefits such as:
Search queries: To find information that indicates your blog on google search results.
Links to yuor site: Find out information about a link to your blog (external link)
Crawl errors: Details about the URL of your blog that can not be crawled by google.
Keywords: Keywords on your blog.
Sitemaps: Easing google bot to index and crawl your blog pages.
To that list your blog on google webmasters tools. But before you register your blog on this service is better register your blog on google search engine, how can you look at google submit.
If your blog is already listed in google search engine, here's how to register your blog in the webmasters tools:
Login to your google account (gmail / blogger), click on webmaster tools.
Click Add a site.
Type in your blog on an existing column, if it is click continue.
Copy the HTML code, place the HTML code in your blog. The trick as follows:
Login to blogger.
Click the design, click on Edit HTML.
Paste the HTML code below <head> code or above code <title> <data:blog.title/> </ title>
Click save.
Back again to webmasters tools account, and then click verify.
Verification has been completed.
Next is to create sitemaps for your blog.
